What is included in the entry fee?
The entry fee includes the organisation of a great race in and around nice with highest security standards and around 1500 volunteers, one pasta party ticket, one award banquet ticket, one welcome present (e.g. bike shirt), a finisher medal, a finisher t-shirt and the certificate.

Do I need a licence?

I have sent my registration, how do I know I am registered?
Online applications are immediately saved into our database . After applying you will find your name in the competitors list within 7 days. Update of the list is done every Monday.
Offline applications will be entered by our staff, so in addition to the time the letter takes to get to our office, you’ll have to add a couple of days, until you can find your name on the competitors list. As soon as you are on the list, you are registered for the IRONMAN France – Nice.

Weather forecast for race day?
Average temperature 25°C, but temperatures can rise up to 34°C on very hot days.

Are disc wheels and bar end shifters allowed?
Yes

What are the cut off times?
Swim 2.15 –> global= 8:45am
Swim + Bike 10.45 –> global= 5:15pm
Swim + Bike + Run 16.00 –> global= 10:30pm

What is the brand of the energy products (bars, drinks, gels) that will I get at the aid stations?

Will there be Internet coverage with results?
Yes, www.ironman.com will exclusively cover the event. During race week from Thursday to Monday you will find all info on www.ironman.com – updates, stories, pictures and results. After race week you’ll find result lists and photos for download on our website as well as news.
 

Where can I get photos of MY race?
Our official photo service, MARATHON Photos will be on the race to take several pictures of each athlete. You can get your Finisher Photo on Monday after the race at the Expo, or at the Awards Ceremony. You can even deposit a pre-order at the MARATHON Photos stand in the Expo Village. After the race, you can comfortably order the photos of your race on the website www.marathon-photos.com.

Is there a possibility to camp in Nice?
There is no camping in Nice. In St Laurent you will find camping.
