The Race Course
The race course circuit for each discipline

Swim 3.8km
The start will be given at 06:30 am on the emblematic Plage du Centenaire.
The swim entails 2 loops, one of 2400m followed by a second one of 1400m, with an short land exit of about 20m at the end of the first loop.


Transition area
The access to the transition area is through the ramp of the Plage de Centenaire. The exit of the park is located on the east side of the park, close to the Opera beach.

Bike 180km
The bike race of 180km will be accomplished in 1 loop starting at the Promenade des Anglais. You will ride through some beautiful communes and villages of the picturesque hinterland of Nice wand cheered on by the puclic. The circuit will drive you through St Laurent du Var, Gattières, Carros, Le Broc, Bouyon, Gréolières. The total climbing altitude is about 1800m for a bike cutoff of 10:45 after the start of the race. 8 aid stations will be prepared for you (personal aid station at mid race). Come back to the Promenade des Anglais to the Opera beach transition area in riding past the airport of Nice.


Run 42.2km
The run course consists of a 10,5km loop that has to be run four times which is absolutely flat along the Nice coastline. During the run you can enjoy the wonderful view from the Promenade des Anglais. Three aid stations will get you through the marathon, so you could stop to eat and drink 24 times!


Finish!
The finishline is located at the Promenade des Anglais (avenue de Verdun) opposite the Hotel Meridien. Run through the finish canal and enjoy spectators on both sides of you applauding and showing their respect and admiration for what you accomplished. You are an IRONMAN!

Athlete’s heaven
Once you crossed the finishLine, catchers will be there to assist you will guide you to the area after the finishline. A medical team will be there to assist you if needed. You now can relax, eat, drink and enjoy the massages, you deserve it!
